USTTI Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response
Over the past week cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) have increased in the United States. Therefore in an overabundance of caution we are taking the proactive step to postpone the 5G and Emerging Technologies (April 1-14) and Telehealth (April 14-24) training sequences. To date, the USTTI has also postponed programs that were scheduled in Vietnam and in Santa Clara (Silicon Valley) California. We feel it is necessary to take these measures in order to ensure we do not expose our scholars or any of our trainers to unnecessary risks.
In the coming weeks as we learn more about the containment, and defeat, of the virus we will provide an update of when the 5G and Emerging Technologies and Telehealth training programs will be conducted. Please note that any issued acceptances for these programs will still be valid and confirmed attendances in the sequences will be honored.
The USTTI will continue to closely monitor the situation and in the weeks ahead we will make further decisions on future courses sequences. We will approach each decision with overabundance of caution. While we are delaying the start of our 38th year of tuition-free training we are confident that by the end of 2020 this will be another successful year for the USTTI.
We apologize for any inconvenience this decision causes. However, it is our priority to limit any risk to our entire USTTI family. Should you have any questions or require additional information please email us at train@ustti.org.
