Course Description

Having effective communications and a pre-determined plan for the implementation and training of people and resources is the key to providing essential communications support for first responders. The training will address the telecommunications needs for mitigating the effects of natural and man-made disasters by exploring best practices for incident command, recovery, and response and the integration of weather and threat intelligence.

Through a mix of practical and hands-on modules, participants will have the opportunity to explore response, recovery strategies, and technologies to better understand what will be most applicable to the participant’s environment.
