USTTI Announces Expanded Cybersecurity Training

The USTTI is pleased to announce course 17-225: "Hands-On" Introduction to Protecting Networks from Cyber Attacks. This intensive week-long program, from July 10 to July 14, is designed to provide participants with a "hands-on" introduction to the technologies and processes used for identifying and protecting networks from cyber-attacks.
The session will be conducted in the Security Operations Center of the Interdisciplinary Telecom Program in the engineering school of the University of Colorado Boulder. In this state-of-the-art facility participants will be introduced to the tools and best practices to use once a network has been determined to be compromised.

35th Training Year
On Monday, March 27 the USTTI will officially begin our 35th year of tuition free training with our Introduction to the Rule of Law training Sequence. The sequence of courses designed for developing country policy-makers, regulators, executives and managers of telecommunications companies will introduce the concept of the Rule of law while also focusing on the best practices for telecommunication regulation.
In the coming weeks the USTTI will also commence our bedrock Spectrum Management training sequence with courses taught by USTTI Board Members, the Federal Communications Commission, the GSMA and TCI International. The entire six week tuition-free program will provide developing country officials with the technical foundation to develop spectrum policy for their country.
