USTTI 2017 Curriculum
January 13, 2017
The USTTI's 2017 Course Curriculum is now available at USTTI.org , and we are accepting applications for our 35th year of tuition-free training. The 2017 curriculum features bedrock USTTI courses in the areas of spectrum management, communications policy and regulation, the rule of law, cybersecurity, competition policy, satellite communications, broadband deployment and emergency communications.
We are also pleased to offer new courses that address 5G, the Internet of Things, the role of satellites in next generation communications systems and spectrum sharing. These course innovations will empower USTTI scholars with information as they continue to improve their country's access to modern communications.
The USTTI's tuition-free curriculum would not be possible without the dedication of leaders from government, industry and academia in the digital marketplace of the United States. On an annual basis, these subject matter experts and their organizations generously volunteer their time, expertise and resources for USTTI scholars from every corner of the developing world. The USTTI would especially like to thank our Industry and Government Board Members: 21st Century Fox; AT&T; Comcast Corporation; The Federal Communications Commission (FCC); Facebook; Ericsson; Google; GSMA; Intel Corporation; Inmarsat, Intelsat; The Internet Society (ISOC); The National Telecommunications and Information Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce; Microsoft; The Office of International Communications and Information Policy, U.S. Department of State; QUALCOMM Incorporated; Verizon Communications; and The Walt Disney Company whose continued support will allow the USTTI to offer close to 70 tuition-free courses in 2017.
