Chairman's Awards
Each year, the USTTI Chairman and Board of Directors honor individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the USTTI's goal of global growth through communications sharing. The USTTI Chairman's Award reflects their invaluable and relentless efforts on behalf of the USTTI and it 7,284 graduates in 165 developing countries.

Klein Gilhousen
Klein Gilhousen, QUALCOMM‘s Senior Vice President for Technology, and the legendary founder of CDMA technology, finds time each year to share his insights and competitive philosophy with USTTI scholars attending QUALCOMM's five USTTI courses. Because of his tireless commitment to helping the USTTI empower enlightened communications leaders in the developing world, Mr. Gilhousen (right) was awarded the USTTI's Chairman's Award for corporate leadership by Michael Gardner (left). Sean Murphy, Vice President and Counsel for International Government Affairs, represents QUALCOMM on the USTTI Board of Directors.

Joseph P. Camacho
Each year USTTI Chairman (left) selects a representative from both industry and government who have demonstrated extraordinary support of the USTTI. The federal government recipient honored in 2006 with the Chairman's Award was Joseph P. Camacho, Program Manager, Information Security, in the Office of the Secretary at U.S. Commerce Department. John Kneuer (right) Acting Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and NTIA, and a member of the USTTI Board of Directors joins Ambassador Gardner (left) in awarding the Chairman's Award to Mr. Camacho (center).
